Sourcing Engineer

Client Requirement Understanding:
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, actively listening to their needs and preferences.
o Translate client specifications into actionable design requirements, considering factors such as
functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability.
o Collaborate with clients throughout the design process to incorporate feedback and ensure
alignment with expectations.
Design Creation and Modification:
o Utilize industry-standard software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools to create detailed
designs for casting and forging components.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical requirements and
manufacturing capabilities.
o Continuously evaluate and improve designs for efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
RFQ Execution:
o Lead the execution of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) by gathering technical requirements,
conducting feasibility studies, and preparing detailed proposals.
o Coordinate with procurement, sales, and project management teams to ensure timely and accurate
responses to RFQs.
o Provide technical support during negotiations and contract discussions with clients
